From Whitefish, MT take Highway 93 northwest to Mile Marker 158 and turn right. Continue north on Hwy 93 for 26 +/- miles. The best indicator that you are getting close will be when you see the Point of Rocks Restaurant on your left. It is approximately 4 miles to the road from this restaurant. As you get closer to the entrance, look for mile marker 158. The turn off is approximately 100 yards past this marker on the right. You’ll cross over a small bridge over Stillwater River before you turn right.
Once you’ve turned right from Hwy 93, you’ll be on a dirt road and you will see a sign for Mt. Marston Lookout, continue on this dirt road and veer to the left (at the first Y), it is almost four miles to the entrance. Just after you pass the two small cabins (one on the right and one on the left) you’ll continue on the road and veer to the right and we are approximately 1 mile from that point. You will see a wooden gate with two J’s (made from horseshoes) straight ahead as you descend a hill. We are inside that gate.
When you are on Hwy 93, if you see the sign for the town of Stryker, you have gone too far.
